PAYMENT: I am having trouble paying by credit card.
People may experience issues with paying for their domain registration/renewal by credit card in a number of situations. Due to the huge amount of credit card fraud on the internet, our payment providers systems are designed to fail transactions if there is any potential risk of fraud. Please don't take it personally if your credit card is not accepted, it is just the anti-fraud systems that Paymex (our payment provider) uses. Unfortunately we have no control over these systems, they are managed by Paymex, and our domain registrar. If you have trouble paying by credit card and you get an error explaining your credit card wasn't be accepted, please first try using a different credit card. If that still doesn't work, your other payment option is to make payment by either direct bank payment or by cheque.

To avoid domain renewal/registration issues when paying by credit card, please make sure you complete all the domain registration/renewal and payment steps within a single viewing session, including returning to our domain registration website at the end of the payment process. Failure to carry out all steps may result in the domain not renewing/registering immediately, and we may need to personally contact you to find out what the domain transaction should be, if we can't match your payment with the domain.

Other issues with making payment by credit card can be caused by the following situations.
(1) You begin the registration/renewal process, and then leave the computer for a period of time, and then go back to it, which will effectively time out the session.
(2) You email the credit card payment page to the bill payer to fill in at a later date. This means the session will expire, and the payment will not be able to be matched with the domain.
Both these situations may result in the credit card transaction going through, but the domain not renewing/registering immediately, and we may need to personally contact you to find out what the domain transaction should be, if we can't match your payment with the domain.

You will be able to tell that the transaction was successful, by viewing your invoices list inside the domain manager. If the invoice for the domain renewal/registration appears in it, you will know if it is successful.

Please note that if you are not able to make credit card, you will always be able to make payment via an alternate method, including direct credit or cheque.
